The Closing Event, where outputs of the project that was carried out under the \u201cTraining for Institutional Capacity Building on Climate Change Adaptation Project\u201d – carried out by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey – were shared, was held as a hybrid event, on September 23, 2021, at Ankara HiltonSA Hotel with more than 200 participants. The Event started with the opening speech of Director of IPA programme at the Directorate General of EU and Foreign Affairs under the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Dr. \u0130smail Raci Bayer. His speech was followed by a speech by Sebahattin D\u00f6kmeci, Deputy General Director of the Directorate General of Environmental Management\u00a0under the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urbanization. After the Project Team Leader Prof. Dr. G\u00fclen G\u00fcll\u00fc shared the results of the project, project instructors Prof. Dr. Ay\u015feg\u00fcl Tan\u0131k, Assoc. Prof. Dr. \u00c7i\u011fdem Co\u015fkun Hepcan, Prof. Dr. \u0130lkay Dellal, Prof. Dr. \u0130hsan \u00c7i\u00e7ek, Prof. Dr. Didem Evci Kiraz and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Somuncu delivered a panel presentation on \u201cClimate Change Adaptation Policies and Turkish Practices\u201d<\/strong>. The afternoon session started with a presentation by G\u00fcven \u0130slamo\u011flu, titled \u201cClimate Change from the Nature\u2019s Perspective\u201d<\/strong> and was finalized with a panel presentation on \u201cClimate Change Adaptation Efforts of Local Governments\u201d<\/strong>, with the participations of Eski\u015fehir, \u0130zmir, Gaziantep and Kocaeli Municipalities.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
